Where there's a Wu there's a Wei
We're having a Wu Wei day
Where there's a Wei there's a Wu
Why there's nothing to do
Don't you love to be elated, ecstatic and inflated,
Happy in your skin, knowing exactly what you're in
Afloat in a boat of unrelenting joy
And you're lifted and you're gifted and the mood you had has shifted.
And the air is full of hope, and possibility and chances,
and you'll take no backward glances
for onward is the trip,
and even if you slip,
it's nothing it's a blip!
Nothing!
Then addressing his legs he said…
Legs, take this body out and on, keep it moving over mountains and beyond
And when they need to rest a while just pause and give yourselves a spell
Lie down, sleep, do nothing, and be sure to do it well!
For when you're doing nothing just do nothing,
Nothing, nothing, nothing,
not a thing, not a thought, not a one.
For if you find you think a thought you're doing something - you've been caught
your sole objective clipped off short
that's not the point of nothing.
To enter nothing and succeed is very torrid work indeed.
There's some who'll take a nothing pill to reach the top of nothing hill
Where nothing comes and nothing goes and nothing rests in sweet repose.
And so, if nothing is your deal and not a thing is what you feel,
There's nothing we can do for you, you cost us nothing, we like that too.
Where there's a Wu there's a Wei
We're having a Wu Wei day
Where there's a Wei there's a Wu
Why I'm singing nothing to you.
